Internal Assessment to be Uploaded

Don't know how many of you actually got this news but the internal marks that usually was uploaded by colleges for their students is no longer going to be done. Now the colleges

have been asked to directly upload the students' attendance and the marks they have scored in the internal assessment tests conducted by the college on to the web portal given by the university. So one doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that the university is going to put the internal marks based on the marks uploaded by the college. The university seems to be striving to improve the quality of the students passing out and has even gone to the extent of putting out a Circular stating the schedule for uploading the attendance and marks to the web portal. Hereafter, the students have to put efforts in writing their internal exams. How far this new system is going to work in improving standards, one has to wait and watch.

Update: A revised schedule for P.G. students has been put out by the university.
