Hello Again!!!
Here's is my fourth installment in notes for Foundation Engineering series. Wanted to post this atleast a week earlier but somehow couldn't manage to spare the time to sit and type the post and upload the file.
It is the presentation that I had given to my students and is in the usual portable document format. The syllabus actually covers only pile foundations and so does the file name. But the presentation is actually named Deep Foundations as I for one believe that students should also know about the other types of deep foundations, atleast the general types. So the presentation includes a brief discussion on the other types of deep foundations viz. Piers and Caissons. Hope you find this useful in your preparations for your upcoming University examinations.
